Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

When i was in ninth grade I had the most chill study skills teacher known to man. No one has had my respect more than Mr. Phelps. Him and I use to sit around and talk about music, Brad Pitt films, and occasionally math homework. Any way he turned me onto this band and he even gave me their discography. However, due to my shitty ipod crashing, I lost all of their music and had almost forgotten about them until I saw their name on the new twilight soundtrack. Hear me out, I was only looking at it because Thom Yorke was on there and I really respect him. So I went and bought a couple of their albums and they are now one of my favorite bands. A lot of blues and folk based garage rock sounds, its really cool stuff. Definitely influenced by guys like The Velvet Underground and The Beatles. Check them out if you get the chance.

Childhood

A few of my favorite books as a kid were things like Green Eggs and Ham, Goodnight Moon, and of course Where The Wild Things Are. So it would only make sense that I was optimistic about Spike Jonze's full length interpretation of it, which turned out to serve me well. Any one who thinks this movie wasn't good either didn't read the book as a child or they simply don't understand what good cinematography is. This is one of the best films of the year. It has a lot of emotions in it and the way Jonze directed it you really feel like a kid again. I recommend it to any one who has half a right brain.

Marlon Brando

The inventor of acting as we all know and love today. Without him there is no Johnny Depp. There would be no Robert Deniro, Brad Pitt, John Malkovich, or Heath Ledger. Rebelliousness would not be as aspired without this man. I give him my full respect.
